The pendant was originally made by a greek philosopher and psionic in order to grant the love of his life the ability to maintain focus even in the most dire of circumstances. She was known in their small town to be taken by flights of fancy and had trouble focusing on important tasks. He was called upon by Senate to go off to war against Persia and knew that his love would be taken advantage of. So he worked long and hard and created this, using what he felt was the elemental power of Poseidon (as he did not know the nature of his abilities, just how to use them). Thus he made it into the shape of the animal she loved, the sea turtle.
Usage
The pendant grants the wearer the ability to maintain focus indefinitely by absorbing the focus onto itself, the longer the focus in maintained the stronger the pendant is able to take that focus on when the wearer can't. Thus, the pendant is able to maintain focus even if the wearer is unconscious, injured, or otherwise unable to.
