The eye is a synthetic bio-engineered replacement eye. While an individual eye's abilities may vary, these are all known to be possible.

- Can link with external sensor systems to construct a 3D model of an area that isn't yet within sight

- Can overlay Tricorder / ship board sensor readings onto current display
Notes
The eye gathers the information it can, processes that information into a signal which can be interpreted by the optic centers of the brain. The eye does not increase the ability of the person to process the information they are seeing, nor does it make the mind able to just suddenly know things. Though with practice many of those who have this modification have learned to interpret information given to them by the eye without thinking about it.
