Custom Engineer Armour Mark1
Information

Design and Description

The chest area of the suit is padded with rib-like platings made of Tritanium, developed to protect the wearer from machinery and occupational hazards. The suit's helmet is plated with Tritanium and features a visor made of Transparent Aluminum for quality protection. It also features a Heads-Up display, and a dedicated air supply. On the upper back of the suit is a built-in Antenna to ensure he always keeps in contact. A comms system is also built into the suit and connected to the antenna, the Helmet and upper neck armour both featuring microphones for easy communication. Developed by Aytise to both protect him and enable him to navigate terrain and space more easily, the Engineering Suit has thrusters located on the shoulders and legs of the suit. The helmet can fold into several different sections and be stored in the suit. It is built to be self-sealing with the aid of suit sensors to detect breaches as well as the added benefit of being Linked to Aytise’s Central Nervous system via his already existing connection suite from previous suits of such design. Also added to this connection is a Manipulator Mechadendrite. (Full details on other page.) The Form Fitting Tritanium Weave lies below the armour plating and in areas not covered by it. Lying below all this are networks of electro-motivated fibre bundles which mimic and augment the muscular strength of the wearer. In order to power all this sits a miniature fusion reactor attached to the middle of the back, built around the insertion point for the Mechanical Arm. On the left hand of the suit a small but powerful welder is attached. Fed by the fusion core, the welder’s flame is directed accurately by one of the wearer’s fingers on that hand. Along with this feature, many tools for all purposes are stored in two small packs to the left and right of the reactor allowing the wearer to work on a wide variety of tasks.
