Temporal shields protect a vessel (or facility) from alterations in the timeline or other temporal effects. When temporal energy impacts the shields, they reflect the energy back into the surrounding spacetime.
Generation
Shields are generated by bombarding an existing deflector shield with tachyon particles saturating the interior surface temporal energy. The deflector shields control the temporal energy field and maintain its integrity.
