She is a heavily modified registered trade vessel. She is an older Saladin Class vessel but has been modified allowing her to cloak and alter her own hull markings.
History
Once being an experimental Starfleet vessel the ship has a largely unknown past when it was a member of the fleet. However, it was sold into civilian use but got the reputation as a cursed ship after several accidents occurred on board killing 3 different skeleton crews during cruises related to potential buyers. While authorities blamed it on illegal modifications, there is still no real cause on file for the events.
As a cursed ship she sat in ship yards of less and less repute over the years. Finally, falling into the hands of smugglers and traders of less savory things.
