Aka'lar the Minokan Gladiator | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Impatient and dedicated to the warrior’s way, Aka'lar seeks honor in battle, and the arts of war, she is proud of her natural strength and abilities. She honors and respects the chain of command, though believes the proper methods of de-escalating something is through violence and battle. She’s a traditionalist in many cases, should arguments get out of hand, or go too far or one has insulted her or her clan, then she will settle the matter in an arena duel. She strongly looks up to Vorok the Unyielding, and often relates situations to the stories of him, as well as her own stories and experiences. Her impatience and prideful nature do often get in the way of solving problems calmly, and she’s often quick to anger and enter her berserker rage as a result, she trusts very few people, believing that most sentient races see them as only rampaging behemoths or more animals than sentient, this leads her to often assume the worst intentions of people, and seek violence as a response.

Background
Born and raised on the Minokan Warclad ship Torok’lar, Aka’lar was one of four daughters and 5 sons of the Warrior Guild’s Grandmaster and Warclad commander, Enk’lar. Commander Enk’lar taught all his children the way of the warrior, strength, tenacity, and pride in their heritage and bloodline. As she grew Aka’lar began showing a proficiency in hand to hand combat, and the martial arts, techniques often used by the Minokan Gladiators, she began to receive specialized training, and she grew into her role, becoming a large and powerful behemoth of a young woman, at the age of 18 she had her trial by fire, or Cho’rok, where she participated in a raid of a biotics research facility, the raid had a rough patch, but her true nature and power shone through as she went into an enraged fury and with only her bare fists, smashed through the security’s front line and make the raid successful. Afterwards she received her biotics, and her training regarding them. By the age of 28 she has mastered her biotics, and became sworn in as a Gladiator of the Warrior’s guild, since then she’s been a favorite in the arena as a brawler, both for entertainment and for testing the mettle of visitors to their ships, she has also participated in a few more raids for supplies for their survival.
