Background
At 4 years old, Trigger was taken in by an 11-year-old named Taren. Around 12 years later, the two started going on adventures together, and Trigger helped out a dragon named Alyssa, who started tagging along with the pair. As Trigger and Alyssa talked to each other and grew to know each other, their minds became linked. About two years after they met, they finally reached the legal marriage age, and wedded. (The real backstory is much longer and contains a lot of stuff that is copyrighted, so I put in the abridged version.)
