The AOC Infused Containment System is a system designed to store and transport dangerous Unexplained Artifacts for Vident Obscura. The crate comes in a variety of shapes and sizes and can be fabricated for specific purposes. The inside is lined with a specialized Aqua Opal Crystal infused tritanium alloy. Once sealed the device creates a gravitationally neutral environment and dampens inertial forces. A series of six distinct shield generators focused through AOC crystal emitters project interlaced fields to dampen or reflect magical or psionic energy back at the object being stored. In addition, the device created a self contained subspace bubble around the shielding and shield generators which takes the interior out of phase with normal space-time, creating an artificial zone of space-time to help contain an artifact.
The device is not fool-proof and radiant energies can still escape, the device is designed to help transport and provide temporary storage for an artifact until it can be properly painted in The Vault.
