Myra is a proud member of 10% cadets that graduate Flight Academy, but she didn't let it get to her head, she knows when to retreat and avoided heroics, after all heroes die. She is loyal if someone deserves it, and won't ignore orders. She however doesn't like to talk about her past, especially family. As much as she is proud of her work as fighter pilot she doest enjoy killing. Myrta genuinely believes that Empire is way to end war and to maintain peace.

Special Skills

  • Piloting [1B]
  • Hand Blaster handling [1D]

Background

Born on Corellia few years before Clone Wars began, Myra always looked up to ships in orbit, planning to join crew of one. As time passed Venators and acclamators in orbit were slowly replaced by Imperial ships, amd mood on planet changed rapidly. As few more years passed she enlisted into Skystrike flight academy as fighter pilot. The TIE fighter wasn't what she hoped for but founding it fast and agile enough to compensate for lack of shields she continued her training in boot camp, archiving one of better scores at that time.

When time came she was moved to one of Star Destroyers that hunted for rebels in outer rim. for first few weeks all that she done was training under eyes of veteran pilots, when suddenly in middle of night alarm klaxon announced incoming rebel bombers, scrambling to her fighter, hastily putting on her black plastoid armor she took off as part of Echo squadron, composed entirely of recruits like her.

As they flew out of hangar and turned to face rebel Y-wings escorter by Z-95 headhunters they opened fire, releasing green blaster bolts. Having the element of surprise on how fast they scrambled, few enemy fighters went down fast, however as squadron turned around for another attack run, one of ties got hit by Y-wing ion turret, pilot losing control hit another tie, both exploded. As more ties joined battle they started to overwhelm rebel force, slowly pushing them back. Out of two Y-wing squadrons, only two bombers returned home, without their fighter escort.

This marked end of academy for surviving recruits. They passed with honours, few earning Academy Ace mark. Myra was one of them. her TIE was painted with respectful yellow stripes, same as elements of her armor. After returning home for leave before deployment, she found out her father, worker in TIE factory, was killed in terrorist attack while she was away, while she defended Imperial Star Destroyer, rebels planted bombs on factory line, to slow it down.

Few more years passed, in between that, first death star was destroyed and TIE interceptors entered service. Empire moved some of their better pilots into them, Myra included, it also came with new rank of Lieutenant for her performance, and continued survival. Her new fighter had freshly painted Ace markings, smiling as she entered freshly produced cockpit, she hanged small pendant in cockpit, something she carried as lucky charm. Then alarm ranged out. Rebel frigate was spotted in system and fighters were scrambled, as she flew out of hangar, her interceptor suddenly lost all power, and rest of squadron disappeared, same as star destroyer.
