Background

Born in a Heosphoros Lab in the west coast. Tora is the result of an experiment in modifying people to make them more suited to space. Tora was a part of one of two programs that aimed to achieve the same goal via different paths. In the case of Tora cybernetic augmentation was chosen despite it being an infant technology. After cybernetic augmentation and artificial aging he was assigned as the security escort of Doctor James Carleton. The purpose of this was to test the long term viability of cybernetic augments and how well the exocortex could keep him submissive and loyal. James had further modified Tora to suit his ‘aesthetic’ concerns. He was planning to leave Heosphoros to sell of the company’s secrets. He was found out and a strike team sent to assassinate him. Tora tried to save him but he was not successful. James was presumed killed and Tora left severely wounded but alive.
