Background

The Stahl family has a proud history. Damn near every male member of the family has been a soldier since man could craft a spear. Whether in the Navy, Army or Marines there was a Stahl wearing the uniform and fighting for a cause. When Arrick Stahl was born though Starfleet wasn't considered a military branch. He still wanted to live up to the legacy that his family has passed down. He joined Starfleet and jumped at each and every chance to gain military training. Scout, tracker, weapons, advanced weapons, explosives training...both detonate and defuse. Hand to hand combat as well as advanced training. Survival in damn near every environment.

He was assigned to intelligence and performed reconnaissance duties. There wasn't much need for men of his caliber and training on Starfleet vessels. He rose through the enlisted ranks while in intel. He had a few deployments that ended up having to combat various races in the galaxy. Now he was at Starfleet Academy awaiting assignment to a starship. There may not be a need for combat divisions in Starfleet but being assigned to security was close enough for Petty Officer 2nd Class Arrick Stahl. He knew he was living up to his families legacy.
