She is strong willed and incredibly arrogant, to the point of narcissistic tendencies. To her, she is always right and the sooner everyone else gets that, the happier everyone else will be. She's honest, to the point of brutality at times. Perhaps her main redeeming quality is her loyalty and the lengths she will go for allies, but especially friends and those few who have made it to family. She loves them, and her country and will serve both to her dying breath, not matter the collateral damage it may cause.
Background
Lisa wanted to join the military at a young age, but in the Vietnam era, women were only allowed into a certain number of positions. While she wanted a combat role, she was given desk duty in the special projects division. She was a glorified secretary, dissatisfied with this lot in life she saw an early opportunity to impress a black ops agent who was working with their team. She had a feeling that he could see the value of having a woman as a field operative who also knew how to handle herself in battle. She worked hard and cultivated relationships within the Navy building a network of informants until she finally had the chance. There was an opportunity to use her network to get exactly the information the CIA wanted and it worked. Still working, officially, for the Navy she departed from special projects as a secretary and was put elsewhere. Each time she needed higher access or more credentials, the CIA was assist and allow her promotions with the Navy to make the books look nice and tidy. Until one day, they inevitably betrayed her. It only only through her carefully selected and handled network of people across the United States and abroad that allowed her to recover. Rather than go after the CIA, she realized the world had changed - or rather - was changing. She'd already had special weapons training and training in covert operations as well as command experience.
She found a request for a special project in Los Angeles, not knowing exactly what the project was for the scientists figured that a woman might be better suited for them. The Navy promised her that should she do well on this project (i.e. survive) she would have no more ceilings, glass or otherwise. Grasping at this, she agreed. The experiments were nothing to laugh about, many times others would go into the chamber deep under L.A. and come out insane or not come out at all. She knew there was one survivor, she'd only spoke to the man once but she always remembered his name, Lance Thomas, they rushed him away as soon as it was over. That wasn't why she remembered him, she remembered him because he said to all of the other test subjects, "I'll survive, and then we'll see who takes orders from whom!" It was a brazen and ultimately moronic thing to say, somehow the glint in his eye caught her attention and she never forgot the confidence. Rather than masking fear as it was with most of the others; he meant it.
She survived the experiment, only then did she understand the true nature of what was going on. Her soul and body had been fused with a demon of some sort, a succubus to be more precise. Once it was over she could feel the foul beast clawing its way to the surface, enticing her, begging her, berating her, anything it could do to get its way. She knew she had to control it, clamp it down, lock it away or it would control her and that was something she would not have. The demon gave her unique powers and abilities, however, mostly to do with the mind. She went through extensive training after being moved to the south-eastern United States, where they gave her a ring. It was clear at first, but once she put it on the large gemstone in it turned into a bright orange-red fire opal. It wasn't long into her training that she realized, she wasn't aging. Not only that but she looked considerably younger than she should, small wrinkles around the eyes and mouth that had been developing, were no longer there. She perpetually appears to be in her mid 20's.
As part of the new division she was assigned for the hunting and potential turning of supernatural targets and assets. Her job was to seek out and find potential assets with supernatural or magical abilities, turn them to work for her or turn them to ashes. Life experience has given her a particular hatred of Vampires but most other creatures of the night she understands well enough to live with, so long as they do as she asks them. The betrayal of the CIA still burns deeply, however, and she makes a point to distrust and monitor what they do when they are near.
Persona Life
Lisa was has been married three times. The first was to a fellow military officer in the earlier days of her career, Anson Urbina, who was killed a few years later, before she became involved with the CIA. Later, after her CIA involvement began she became very close with a CIA agent named Gabriel Wells, but Gabriel was killed only a few years after in a slaughter when trying to recruit several Vampires to the cause. This event possibly noted her disillusionment with the program and perhaps contributed to the later betrayal of the CIA. Finally after freeing herself from the CIA and well into running the facility known as Echo Station she met a ranch owner from Alabama named Kyle McNeal, they stayed married for several years but he eventually surcomed to the intense pressure of Vitae, as he was the embodiment of the Phoenix, the force killed him so that the spirit could pass on to another.

Special Abilities
Lisa has exceptionally strong psionic abilities as well as a vastly increased strength and stamina. Her body is in peek condition and her increased essence translates into holding an incredible amount of physical power in terms of what her body can do and how much punishment it can take. The demonic energy she possesses causes her mind to more easily focus in a pragmatic way and leave emotions aside, her thoughts are focused and sharp in and order of magnitude above others. This all allows her to draw on and use an absolutely (nearly) unprecedented amount of psionic energy. Though there is a cost, the most energy she uses of her own mind, the less she is able to keep the insanity of the demon at bay, when the walls drop the demon takes over.
