The Miranda Class starship was in use in 23rd and 24th century. This class ship is directly related to the previous Soyuz Class, which while physically similar in design had a weaker space frame and lower power capabilities than the Miranda Class. Because of foresight in upgrade potential, the ships space frame and systems arraignment was able to be readily upgraded up through the late 24th century.
