Phoenix Talon is a broadsword holding a large ruby at the end of its hilt and engraved with runes along its blade.
Properties
The sword is enchanted with elemental fire magic, creating an elemental flame along its blade. The ruby in its hilt appears to be the source of magical energy for the elemental fire, bound to the blade itself by the runs which are etched in the metal.
Embedded Crystal
Embedded in the hilt of the sword is a deep red crystal presumed to be a ruby. It is actually a Solar Crystal, drawing energy from the fabric of reality itself. It is primarily bonded to the blade itself, however, it will bond to the master of the blade given time and use. This is a special case for the crystal which normally can only bind to a single person. Because the forger of the sword was so talented in the use of Magical Energy they were able to produce such a truly exceptional and unique weapon.
