|
The Sin of Pride has been an eternal force, it has always been there. However, the person who embodies this sin has changed over time, and is part of the Seven Deadly Sins. This group of eternal forces take on challenges and battles which cannot be otherwise handled. This particular force is embodied by Lance Thomas and all of his incarnations due to the effects of the Shard of the Phoenix.
Transformation
Lance can only become the Sin of Pride when there is a need for him to do so and cannot take the form whenever he wishes. There must be some direct need for him to become Pride in order to trigger the transformation.
Special Abilities
In addition to retaining the abilities he already has, Lance gains these abilities through the transformation into this form.
- Project Fear
- Those under his gaze become overwhelmed by an intense sense of fear and terror at the sight of him, they could run, become frozen in place, or desire to run or do anything to avoid being attacked in any way.
- Force Doubt
- He can manifest his own self-worth to the point that it causes others within the area of effect to doubt themselves in the extreme and suffer a profound loss of confidence.
- Gather Followers
- Through a focused effort he can cause those nearby to see him for what he believes he is; a rightful king on the side of the righteous and cause them to follow him.
- Instigate Rebellion
- Causes the followers and allies of an opponent to question their loyalty to that person and that persons loyalty to them, inspiring them to switch sides or disengage and leave.
- Manifest Catastrophic Flaw
- Will find some catastrophic flaw in the plan of the enemy, even if one did not exist before the circumstances will change to provide said flaw. The effect of this ability is largely random, but creates some critical problem the enemy must face which gives an advantage to Pride and his allies. Note, this is not an illusion, but an actual problem occurs which may not have occurred previously and usually at the worst possible time.
- Sure Footing
- Since Pride is so intensely sure that he is correct in what he does, this manipulates the world around him and through this ability is granted something more than luck but rather, somehow the environment alters in subtle ways so that he is correct. This is not overt, but provides an additional chance of success, though never ensures success, failure is always an option.
- Shadows of Titans
- He can increase his size and strength to incredibly proportions, becoming as large as a sky scraper with a proportional increase in physical abilities.
