Standard issue body armor vest. The armor is light and easy to wear and designed with some eye for comfort. It is made of a flexible nano-fiber composite that is primarily designed to distribute direct blasts of focused particle beams.

Particle / Energy Protection

Particle energy is distributed around the wearer diffusing particle energy into the outside environment, primarily as low intensity thermal and high frequency EM emissions (such as low intensity / high frequency radio waves). Electricity and pure energy impacts are deflected almost entirely, diverted around the wearer through the armor and absorbed by the nano-fiber composite.

Kinetic Protection

The armor provides a good amount of physical protection as well, mostly toward low-velocity kinetic impacts like personal blows. The protection against higher velocity blows, such as from conventional firearms is not as effective. However, still mostly effective against preventing serious injury against lower muzzle velocity rounds and more limited effectiveness against preventing serious injury from high velocity rounds.
