Background
Millie was always gifted, even on the cold planet of Andor where her parents were scientists working with the Andorians, she hated growing up there. Always too rebellious for her own good, she eventually got herself into enough trouble to have to leave. She was never really disgraced but, she had a lot to answer for and thus kind of didn't like being in Federation space. Since then she's been trading her engineering knowledge for travel and profit.
