Evidence suggests an advanced civilization may once have called this system home, though no intelligent life is known to exist there at this time.

This is a cold and rocky world with no atmosphere. Geologically this world has been inactive for some time. The world is rich in various ores such as iron, magnesium, aluminum, and titanium. Trace amounts of silver, gold, and platinum are also present.

This world is a large super-terrestrial world, though too far from Cardai to be able to support most life forms, though some life does exist here due to high geological activity and thick atmosphere. The upper atmosphere is largely hydrogen and helium with some trace amounts of smaller hydrocarbons. Closer to the surface there is a higher concentration of hydrocarbons as well as oxygen, carbon dioxide, and ammonia. Surface temperatures are very high, though mostly from pressure and vented gas from active volcanoes. While the surface temperature averages about 150-200 C, the high pressure (an order of magnitude higher than Earth) maintains liquid water on approximately 52% of the planet's surface.

There is a very low level of light from the star and thus is a primarily dark world. Bioluminescent algae and microbial life is prevalent in the planet's oceans and even on much of the land mass near the oceans. There is almost no life outside of the ocean other than some airborne bacteria which feed off of the high concentration of hydrogen and give off various hydrocarbons.

This world is largely a typical ice giant planet, though it does have a higher than average concentration of helium in the atmosphere. The surface is largely rocky though significant amounts of frozen methane, ammonia, and ice can be found in glaciers covering most of the surface. The surface itself has incredibly high pressure. There is the wreck of a crashed starship buried in the frozen ammonia near the planet's equator.

Similar in composition to Cardai 4, though with a thicker atmosphere and smaller rocky core and much denser concentration of frozen methane and ammonia on the surface. Evidence suggests there may have once been a pressure dome on the planet's surface in the more recent past, though it is now buried under several kilometers of frozen hydrocarbons and ice.

Asteroid Belt

A thin asteroid belt exists about 2.14 AU from the central star. It has a mean radius of 21,000 km though fairly low density of asteroids. It is possible this was once a dwarf planet that broke up for some reason in the system's distant past. Composition of the asteroids is similar to the second planet in the system.

A typical Class I world, small rocky core with layers of frozen methane, ammonia, and other hydrocarbons. Most of the planetary radius is composed of a thick atmosphere of hydrogen and helium. Though there is a dome-like anomaly on the surface, similar to the one found on Cardai 5.

A small frozen world, with an unusually thick atmosphere. Layers of permafrost cling to the planet's surface. The strong magnetic field causes the ice crystals on the surface to form in complex fractal patterns along magnetic field lines. The core is mostly composed of super-dense materials, such as osmium, iridium, and platinum. It is unclear how this world developed so far from the central star, due its incredibly dense core and highly polarized magnetic field it has a higher surface temperature than is normal for a world at this distance from its star. The world suffers from highly polarized magnetic storms throughout the atmosphere, usually covering 50-75% of the planet's surface.
