The basic idea for the arrangement of dimensions comes from a very basic understanding of the dimensional layout from String Theory as describe in this YouTube video as well as other sources. The concepts were adapted to be useful in explaining and unifying Star Trek concepts involving subspace. Of particular interest was providing an explanation of what a "tertiary subspace manifold" was in more detail and how it relates to the concepts of warp drive, time travel, and other game elements. It is a broad bastardization of the actual concept of String Theory.

The concept of the Cuil Realm, Cuil Energy, and other such things come from a tabletop RPG called HC SVNT Dracones by a company called Weapons Grade Funk (c) Pierce Fraser 2014-2019. This material concept was based on content from that book, which as then altered to fit within the Blazing Umbra setting.
