Raised by El-Aurians, Sonah is like them. She listens more and talks less. But her rushy attitude brought her to be at a position that isn't quite the wish for live of such a young woman. She wishes to be something more than a bartender but finds difficulty in working for a long time to achieve her goals. Proof of this is how she didn't go to Starfleet Academy and signed up as passenger for a starship instead, hoping she would have the same thrill for exploring.
Special Abilities
After a specific period of her time, her aging process decreased drastically, just like how is supposed to happen for El-Aurians. However, this is so far irrelevant for someone as young as her. Different from most notable El-Aurians like Guinan and Soran, she has yet much to live and experiences to go through, making her not much different from the other humans of her age.
She also has a hidden potential like the other El-Aurians, even though she doesn't know a thing about hers or her kind's "special gifts". But only time will tell. Right now, she is only a good listener, both in actual hearing sense and social skills. But it is also hinted she is highly sensitive to space-time continuum, an ability she hasn't explored as of yet or even experienced it.
In contrast, she is more sensitive than the humans to temporal events than humans, being potentially more dangerous to her.
Background
Born on Earth and raised by El-Aurians who escaped from destruction, Sonah is a girl who learned how to live among humans but without throwing away her El-Aurian origins. Just like how Worf was raised by humans but still keeping a Klingon Heart, Sonah has El-Aurian culture and behavior, listening to people and her parents, going through a relatively normal life.
After finishing High School, she received news about a starship which has returned to Earth for repairs and would soon return for Deep Space missions, making stops on some starbases. The thought she would be able to see the universe without having to wait four years to maybe be assigned for a place that would not be so thrilling, enticed her and she embraced the opportunity, signing up as passenger. She was then accepted and started to work on their recreational lounge as bartender. After two and half years aboard, there was a stop at Nimbus Station and she decided to stay there.
