Prone to risk taking on occasion Zal is mostly a nice social and empathetic person. She worships the God Weydan, the deity of equality, exploration, and freedom. She prefers Telepathic communication over verbal communication but will use verbal communication if required to.

- low light vision - Can see well even in places with scant light
- Akashic connection - Through meditation Zal is able to access the collective unconscious knowledge of all sentient races to help in a problem.
- Healing Channel - Can heal self or ally in a radius of 30 feet around herself
- Lifelink - Able to transfer wounds from a target no more than 30 feet away to herself. Healing them while she becomes wounded.
- Healer’s Bond - Able to bond with three creatures, the bond allows her to know their current condition
- Telepathic bond - Can create a telepathic bond with up to ten individuals. Each creature included in the link is linked to all the others. The creatures can communicate telepathically through the bond regardless of language. No special power or influence is established as a result of the bond. Once the bond is formed, it works over any distance (although not from one plane to another).
- Channel Bond - Can heal those she shares a telepathic bond over any distance but not from one plane to another.
- Psychokinetic Hand - Telekinetically move an object weighing 50 pounds or less.
- Detect Radiation - Detect radiation within 120 feet.

Since splicing in she has enlisted with ST as part of Nimbus Station's medical crew.
Virsada
Zal owns and pilots a Starhive Drone Mark 3 named Virsada. The ship is 150 feet long with good maneuverability and speed due to its T12 thrusters. The ship is powered by a Pulse power core that operates similar to a fusion reactor and has an onboard hyperdrive engine. For defense it has light armor and basic energy shields and two front facing light EM cannons. To the port and starboard it has light plasma torpedo launchers. The ship can be piloted and crewed by one though to use it to the full extent it requires a crew of six. Apart from a small bridge, living quarters and the housing for the powercore and hyperdrive the ship has two more sections, a medlab and a cargo hold. Lastly the ship has one escape pod for emergency.
