Quasi-matter is a kind of matter that is purposefully kept in a state of electro-quantum flux continuing to maintain a state in between coherent energy and structured matter. The purpose is to couple the matter to a system similar to how a force field is coupled to its generation system. The matter is thus dependent on the generators for its stability.
Since this matter is kept in a state of constant flux between matter and energy when the generators stop applying force to the matter it destabilizes and matter disintegrates. This state also facilitates the matter being less costly to generate from energy than normal matter.
