An Epoch Class Vessel are Runabout ships built in the same design and interface of the Epoch Mark 3. They are essentially ships developed for speed both outside and inside Warp Speed and using it for Time Travel. It has average operational range for sensors and communications. The Mark 1 was built exclusively for Time Travel and couldn't fly like an aircraft until its next upgrade, the Aircraft Epoch. The ships Mark 2 and Mark 3 were built centuries after, and using an alternative power source, called C.I.E.L. System. The Mark 2 is not able for space travel, and is limited to in-planet missions, while the Mark 3 is a full Starship, and one of the fastest ever built. However the Epoch keeps the archaic interface, a bit similar to steampunk machines.

Time Travel
The Epoch is Speed based to travel through time, and uses a concept very similar to the Slingshot Method of travel, but not being necessary to use a star or blackhole orbit to gain velocity, because the Epoch can outpace Warp 10 in 2 to 5 seconds, in a distance of 40075 km from the start point to the travel point. A lap around the earth is more than sufficient for that.
Offensive and Defensive Systems
Epoch Class ships doesn't have any offensive power, but they have standard Deflector and Temporal Shields
