She cares deeply about people but lately has been forced to become more detached from those she cares for. In her work as a social worker she has seen quite a few less than ideal endings for chargers she cared for, this has caused her to become more blunt and detached than when she started. The overwhelming characteristic of Suzanne is that she really does care, even if her job has caused her to not understand the best way to express herself. She can be contemptuous to injustices and to callousness only because she does actually care.
