The system has been surveyed previously using long range probes. Analysis indicates that it may have once been occupied advanced alien civilization who may colonized one of the moons in the system. There are alien ruins consistent with humanoid colonization using pressure domes on the moon of the third planet.  In addition to the ruins there are 2 distinct metallic masses which are consistent with crashed small starships, one on the moon of the third planet and one on the 4th planet. Although it is unlikely that life evolved here naturally, this does not preclude the possibility of colonization by an ancient but advanced alien race in the distant past.
Gamma Ovalos is a yellow dwarf star located in the Gamma Ovalos system. It was last visited during Operation Flintlock in 2387 by the Insane Prince (STV-1027). Remarkable archaeological findings within the system have revealed remnants of an ancient alien civilization, shedding light on their enigmatic past. Furthermore, a Super Terrestrial Class V world within the system has captured scientific interest due to its unique attributes, warranting further investigation.

An unusual world, much larger than most worlds of this type.  It has a typical composition for most Class P worlds other than a higher than average content of heavy / transuranic metals. Due to its gravity the planet has a fairly thick atmosphere composed of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide with a surface entirely covered in a thick layer of ice. The atmosphere is able to trap most of what solar heat the planet is exposed to and the core is quite active. A layer of liquid water exists over most of the surface 1-3 miles beneath the surface ice where a wide variety of bioluminescent bacteria have evolved.
Gamma Ovalos 1, a Class G planet, distinguishes itself from its counterparts with its colossal size and elevated concentration of heavy and transuranic metals. The planet's atmosphere, consisting of gaseous argon, blends with supercritical carbon dioxide, forming a unique environment. Deep within the planet's mix of Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, and Water a concealed realm reveals itself, hosting minimal simple bacterial life forms that thrive in the supercritical water environment. Incredibly high pressures of 10.13 MPa and an extreme surface temperature of approximately 200° C create an inhospitable domain, where the water exists in a supercritical fluid state, blending with the atmospheric carbon dioxide. Liquid oxygen flows through the supercritical water, creating a fascinating interplay of elements.

Unique Features
; Immense Size and Elevated Metal Content: Gamma Ovalos 1 is much larger than the average Class G planets with a radius 1.44 times that of Earth, its imposing presence accentuated further by an abundance of heavy and transuranic metals, endowing the planet with an opulent repository of rare elements.  This also increases the surface gravity and contributes to the extreme surface conditions.
; Supercritical Biological Realm: A hidden realm lies beneath supercritical water surface of Gamma Ovalos 1, hosting a captivating ecosystem of bioluminescent bacteria. These resilient organisms have undergone remarkable adaptations to flourish in the extreme environment, where supercritical water and liquid oxygen coexist.
; Active Core and Solar Heat Entrapment: Gamma Ovalos 1's core remains persistently dynamic, propelling geological phenomena and thermal activity. Its thick atmosphere acts as a formidable guardian, effectively trapping the encroaching solar heat, thus perpetuating the planet's dynamic climate and geological transformations.

Gamma Ovalos 3 is a very large terrestrial world with a thick atmosphere which traps volcanic heat to maintain a rather high surface temperature.  The planet's gravity maintains extremely high pressure at the surface, which also contributes to the high surface temperature. While unsuitable for humanoid life, some pressure-resistant forms of eukaryotic organisms. These organisms do not thrive but manage to metabolize various hydrocarbons to survive in near total darkness. They are not bioluminescent but are phosphoric giving off small amounts of ultraviolet light when exposed to intense heat. Orbiting is a larger Class P moon.
Gamma Ovalos 2, a Class V planet, features an inhospitable environment characterized by extreme atmospheric conditions. Its atmosphere predominantly consists of oxygen and nitrogen, with an astonishing atmospheric pressure of 5.024 pascals. Surface temperatures vary dramatically across the planet, ranging from 3692.8°C to 26049.4°C, resulting in superheated plasma in the hotter regions.

Larger than most moons, this is a Class P moon composed of iron, aluminum, and some rare-earth metals. It is completely glaciated with frozen small-chain hydrocarbons and ice. Evidence suggests that a civilization may have one inhabited this world through he use of pressure domes and alien artifacts likely exist on the surface.  Wreckage of a crashed starship exist on this world, suggesting a survey ship may have been caught in the atmosphere and crashed. Intense electromagnetic storms are common on the surface with high velocity winds and sudden microbursts.
Gamma Ovalos 2's moon is a desolate world with a barren surface marked by numerous impact craters. Its thin atmosphere primarily consists of oxygen and nitrogen. With surface temperatures ranging from 1.2°C to 6°C and a surface pressure of 7.5 pascals (less than 1% of Earth's atmospheric pressure), the moon is inhospitable to life. However, its pristine condition and geological features provide valuable insights into the cosmic history of the system.

The moon also has the Hermod Outpost Gamma Ovalos Terminal located on the surface.
