Any ability of the mind which allows Psionic Energy to extend beyond the confines of a persons body and interact with the outside world is considered to be a Psionic ability. Those abilities have multiple classifications.
Classifications
A person who exhibits a single classification of ability is considered to be just of that class, a Telekinetic or a Telepath. A person who exhibits more than one of these abilities is considered to be a Psionic while those who make the expansion of their psionic gifts a field of personal study are considered to be a Psionicists.
- Telekinetic - Can move objects with the mind.
- Telepathic - Can send and receive thoughts to/from others.
- Pyrokinetic - Can manipulate fire with the mind.
- Psychic - Can read the thoughts of others.
- Empathic - Can read the emotions of others.
- Clairvoyant - Can see into remote locations with the mind.
- Precognitive - Can see into the future with the mind.
A Psionic can use a combination of multiple abilities, usually 2 or 3, on rare occasion 4 or 5. Almost never can a Psionic (even a Psionicist) use all of them.
