Background

Chloe life for most part was normal, she went to school, parties, like every other kid. In early 21s she was “kindered” also known as becoming vampire. Since then her life had sharp turn. After all you don't die everyday just to wake up hour later as vampire. She, trained by other vampire learnt basics of hidden, night life, and especialy Mascquerade which protected that society for so long time. supprisingly she wasn’t creeped even a bit after hange and took it cool, even if it wasn’t planed for her, and was one of few things that broke mascquarade a lot, since you have to get permission to do so from local vampire main clan. she spent many years doing duties for her clan, getting better and better in hand to hand combat, usefull to not only self defence, but also ‘feeding’ of alive people. She moved to Chicago 3-4 years ago using some of money she had from jobs back at sunny Los Angeles. since movement she kept alone, she spent some time at nightclubs and learning city, but continued to keep under radar unless really needed, which can be seen as she used her powers only twice for year. During training she learnt how to use her powers, handgun and lockpicking, yet she was quite better at hand to hand combat. At age of 30 she started working as night guard, job easily fit her form of vampire as she couldn't exit hideout during day anyway. It is now 11 years since she become vampire and she got used to that life, so far people mostly not realising her “sickness” as she follow rules of masquerade and use powers rarelly unless needed

Notes

• To use her power she need to drink blood earlier, also known as commiting act of “vampire kiss”. one kiss can give enough blood to use ability few times, but lower quality blood (from i.e drug taking people or homeless) give less “usages” than from normal people.
• opposite to common belief bite is not enough to turn someone into vampire, if one want to change person to vampire they have to drink all their blood and give them a bith of their own, therefore accidental turn is mostly impossible
• vampires can sometimes enter “Frenzy” mode, the so called ‘beast’ inside them takes control over them, mostly resulting in death of closest person. the possibility of frenzy get bigger each time vampire lose part of it “humanity” which is used to controll their nature. humanty loose is most common by fuly draining someone from blood killing them. humanity is not lost though if act was commited in self defence, since it’s naturall reaction of human to defend from attack
• so called “Masquaredue” is technique of vampire staying hidden, that why such society stay under radar of averange people for so long. Vampire need to control themselves and ‘moster’ inside to not loose hide amongst human. powers such as Celerity or potence (potence less likely) can give human hint that something is wrong. less vampire hide more common is to encounter vampire hunters therefore vampires sometimes kill theyr own to stay hidden.
