The Insane Prince completed construction on May 4th, 2385 and awaits assignment at the [[Umbral Shipyards]] and in 2386 the vessel was assigned an [[MSAI]], the AI [[Oscar Masing]] specifically requested an unassigned and small vessel.

In 2387 this vessel is assigned to [[Vladimir Zima (Blazing Umbra Variant)|Vladimir Zima]] for use in [[Operation Flintlock]] for reconnaissance duty in scouting planetary locations for reinforcements and resupply on the path to Romulus.
