The Starlight Motel was once a low-cost motel owned and operated by seedy individuals who rarely make a personal appearance at the location itself. It is frequently used for sexual misdeeds, illicit rendezvous, trading contraband, and any other form of activity where one cares more about the lack of question than they do the quality of their surroundings. Guests are rarely required to give credit cards, identification, or even names upon check in.
The property was managed Nexus Havoc, no one knows whether this is his real name or not. He was once known to be a member of Ann Frank's Burnt Mother in the 70's, though most have never heard of the band. If the right kind of person gets him on the night shift, he will talk for hours about the existential nature of life and how little anything matters. A staunch atheist, he revels in the misfortune and disaster of others, which might explain why he works at such a horrible place.

Destruction
On the night of May 20th, 2020 the motel was involved in a significant paranormal event. Eye witnesses are scarce as no only was the structure a near total loss, significant loss of life occurred. What is known is that some time around 9pm the structure caught fire. Fire burned through at least 3/4 of the roof and expanded into the upper floors. This did not seem to be related to a fire that broke out on the bottom floor and burned out 2 rooms. The site is condemned and the insurance company has sealed off the property behind locked chain-link fencing.
