	Mei was trained since she was five in martial arts. Her father abandoned her and an old master of martial arts took her in. Since he lost all of his family recently he had no one to pass on his knowledge to and used her as a way for his fighting school to live on. In that way despite being a girl he trained her as rigorously as he could. He was not a man well versed in the ways of the world and taught her little useful skill outside of fighting and killing. She grew up fast, he would take her with him to his jobs giving her training and in several instances hiring local thugs to attack her so she would toughen up and use her skills. Things were much like this for a long time and she became better with each passing day. She was soon moved up to Xi training with her adoptive father and master but this is when things took a turn for the worst. After she had mastered the basic Xi techniques her father was murdered, poisoned by an assassin that eluded her. From that day forward she dedicated her life to finding the assassin to kill them.
