== Composition ==&lt;br /&gt;
The explosive is a composite of Thermolyte, a synthetic chemical similar to Quaratum (used in emergency thruster packs) with properties similar thermite and RDX.  Normally Thermolyte is highly unstable being sensitive to any form of radiation applied to it, including light.  The explosive clay adds a stabilizing agent which produces an electro-magnetic charge when sufficient pressure is applied externally, this radiation burst ignites and detonates the Thermolyte.&lt;br /&gt;

== Versatility ==&lt;br /&gt;
Thermolyte Clay can be used as a standard explosive or as an incendiary agent.  When used as an incendiary agent an external EM burst is applied insufficient to detonate the explosives in rapid decomposition but instead releases a tri-ox compound from the stabilizing agent which rapidly infuses the clay with oxygen.  The oxygenated clay then burns at temperatures in excess of 2,000 C.  Since the compound produces its own oxygen, it will even burn in a vacuum or under water.&lt;br /&gt;
