New page

{{Talk Notice}}
This probe is actively paying homage to these cool gadgets from seaQuest DSV called WSKRS probes. They were super practical and always out there gathering data. It was like the crew's extra set of eyes. In one episode, "The Sincerest Form of Flattery," where they casually talk about sending a WSKRS probe to see what's behind a big ridge. It was just part of their day-to-day operations.

I've always wondered, why doesn't Star Trek have something like this? I mean, they're always encountering these weird space anomalies, right? You'd think they'd have probes flying around all the time, keeping tabs on things. But no, in Star Trek, sending out a probe is like this big, rare event. It always struck me as a missed opportunity.

That's why I put the TEUFEL probe in my game. It's out there doing the work, just like the WSKRS in seaQuest. It's gathering data, keeping an eye out for anything unusual, and just making exploration a bit safer and more informed.
