Solar and Aurora crystals are very rare. They are usually found on M-Class or former M-Class worlds which supported large ecosystems. The crystals themselves form inside caves on a planet surface, though there is no known geological explanation for their formation.

== Areas Commonalities ==
The crystals tend to form in almost random areas on worlds which support large ecosystems with sentient life. They are almost always in very deep caverns growing naturally embedded in the rock walls. These caverns are usually areas of intense power, as perceived by sentient life. A high level of Aethic flow is always present in the areas, whether this is caused by the crystals themselves or the crystals are a result of the flow is unknown. These locations usually read in excess of 250 Oswalds of flow.
