Physically it is a crystal core with short crystalline spikes radiating out from the center in all directions. Floating in a star-bust pattern are 5 or 6 separate crystal spikes that rotate around it slowly in all directions, though usually all the pieces move as one unless it is angry then they all move more independently the more angry the geode is.
