	The vessel began construction in construction in 2385 after the return of Fleet Admiral Lance Thomas, built to be the new flagship of the fleet and intended to be commanded by Fleet Admiral Lance Thomas. In 2387 construction completed and she was ready for her initial shakedown cruise by May. Admiral Thomas insisted on personal inspections during and after construction and he oversaw the first 3 shakedown cruises and subsequent refits to match the ship with his performance expectations. The final cruise completed in June of 2387, in according with orders from Admiral Thomas the strange move of having the chosen crew of the vessel perform the shakedown cruises, leaving the vessel ready for service.
