	The Fi class assault carrier is currently the only starship design created specifically for the ~~Solus~~ Tempus Marine Corps. It is a multirole vessel designed to facilitate the deployment, sustainment, and command of Marines during ground or orbital operations. The Fi class is not designed to operate on its own, with much of its available space used for storage and protective armor rather than weaponry. Currently 8 of these ships exist, one for each Marine division plus their supporting formations. The vessel has a large [[transporter]] pad in the primary cargo bay capable of handling company-sized infantry or platoon-sized armor formations. It is also equipped with the [[Stinger Class Single-Occupant Orbital Insertion Vehicle]] in cases where the transporter or conventional star-craft based landings would not be strategically optimal.
