He worked hard day and night to provide &quot;accurate&quot; information to consumers about various brands in the Halcyon Holdings Board. <br /> <br /> Unfortunately... Well, long story short some Sublight contractor got a-hold of him and turned him into a combat drone for his own personal security. Not that Buddy minded, he was a non-sentient being. <br /> <br /> Of course, being able to fight well requires some ability to think, so he became semi-sentient. Sentient enough to kill, but not really for conversation. <br /> <br /> He never got close to his primary caretaker, thankfully, because at some point the Sublight guy got himself eaten alive by Mantisaurs. Buddy was left alone for a year before Sublight salvaged their employee's ship, and Buddy was slated for deactivation amd disassembly.</div>
